Returns & Exchanges Policy
At STARFISH HOSPITAL, many of our pieces are produced in small batches and handcrafted in-house. Because of this, our return and exchange process is dependent on product availability.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Inventory Availability
Returns and exchanges can only be processed if the item is currently in stock.
If the item you wish to return or exchange is available in inventory, we can proceed with either:
• An exchange for a different size or item
• A refund to the original payment method
Out of Stock Items
If the item is no longer in stock, we are unable to process a refund or exchange.
In these cases, the most we can offer is:
• Store credit, if applicable
Store credit can be used toward any future release.
Waiting for the Next Batch
If the item you want is currently sold out but will be restocked in the next production batch, we can also arrange to hold your exchange until the next batch arrives.
Final Sale Items
Certain items may still be marked Final Sale. These pieces are not eligible for return or exchange.
How to Start a Return
To begin a return or exchange request, please contact us at:
Include your order number and the item you wish to return or exchange, and our team will assist you.
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE SHIPPING CARRIER.
- If a customer provides an incorrect or invalid shipping address, we are unable to intervene, as the address information is submitted directly by the customer during the order process.
- In the event that an invalid address is provided and the package is returned to our facility, the customer MUST contact us via email regarding their order. Once we receive the returned package, we will process a refund.
- Please note that any refunds will cover the total cost of the order, excluding the shipping fee. The shipping fee, which ranges between $4.90 and $8, is non-refundable.

When will my order ship?
All pieces are made to order in limited quantities. Placing a pre-order
secures your specimen before the archive closes. Pre-orders are currently in production and take 3–5 weeks to complete. You will be contacted at each stage until your order arrives.
What is your return or exchange policy?
All sales are final. Size exchanges are accommodated where inventory
allows. If something is wrong with your order, contact the institute
directly and we will make it right.
How do I know what size to order?
All pieces are cut for a relaxed, oversized fit. If you are between sizes, order your usual size. Reference the size chart or contact us— we will help you find the right fit personally.
Can I update my shipping address after ordering?
Yes. Contact us as soon as possible and we will update your records.
Are these pieces true to color?
All items are photographed in natural light and edited to match the physical piece as closely as possible. Minor variations may occur depending on your screen. The institute notes that the pieces consistently look better in person than on any monitor.
Will I get tracking information?
Yes. Once your order ships you will receive a tracking link via the contact information provided at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
The institute ships worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
